Two major Symposia on Climate Change Adaptation in Latin America: addressing water issues
05/03/18 Filed in: Symposium
The International Climate Change Information Programme (ICCIP) is a world leader in education, communication and training on matters related to climate change. ICCIP is organising two major Symposia on Climate Change Adaptation in Latin America, to be held in February 2019, and to which the Calls for Papers are now open. These are:
- 13-15 February 2019: World Symposium on Climate Change and Tourism, Bariloche, Argentina
- 20-21 February 2019: Symposium on Climate Change Adaptation in Latin America, Lima, Peru
The events cater for a wider debate on the links between climate change and water issues. The Symposia also offer an opportunity for researchers working on climate change to come together to discuss research methods, the results of empirical research or exchange ideas about on-going and future research initiatives which aim at providing a better understanding of how climate issues influence various sectors.
The events will involve researchers, government representatives, practitioners and other actors active in the field of climate change in the widest sense.
As happens in all ICCIP events, papers submitted will be peer-reviewed and those which pass peer-review will be published in books as part of the Climate Change Management Series, the world's leading peer-reviewed book series on climate change adaptation: http://www.springer.com/series/8740
