The Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum
is the flagship event of the Asia Pacific Adaptation Network (APAN), and the primary platform for knowledge sharing and learning amongst adaptation practitioners in the region. The sixth edition of the Forum will be held from 17 to 19 October 2018 at the Asian Development Bank headquarters in Manila, jointly hosted by the Governments of the Philippines and Palau, and the Asian Development Bank. The Forum will focus on learning from actions towards climate-resilient development.
On Thursday of the three-day forum, the Asian Development Bank is convening a session on "Nature-based approaches to sustainable and resilient infrastructure development."
AGWA's Coordinator will give a keynote presentation, which will be followed by a panel discussion that includes numerous AGWA members and collaborators. This session falls within the broader stream of "Resilience of industry and the built environment." Read More...

The concluding Water Innovation Webinars session this year will focus on Green Infrastructure (GI) in support of SDGs and climate resilience. Presenters from IUCN, Forest Trends and DHI will share their experiences in GI planning and implementation. Amongst others, examples will include inter-disciplinary knowledge, tools and approaches to ensure that nature is considered alongside built infrastructure, methods for evaluating economic benefits of GI investments, and technical tools for including GI in urban stormwater management planning.
