Survey on Integrating Gender Considerations into Climate Change Adaptation in the Agriculture Sector
05/08/15 Filed in: Survey
The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture is currently undertaking a study to better understand the ways in which institutions are integrating gender-sensitive approaches to climate change adaptation in the agricultural sector in Latin America. The survey, implemented together with IFPRI and CCAFS, is part of the European Commission funded project IICA-EUROCLIMA, "Sustainable agriculture, Food Security, and Climate Change in Latin America", which seeks to strengthen capacity to integrate climate change adaptation and mitigation into regional and national public policy.
The survey aims to assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of people and institutions working in Latin America regarding the integration of gender considerations into climate change adaptation in the agriculture sector. We hope to determine the extent to which institutions working in these thematic areas in the region are integrating gender perspectives into their programming. We are looking for respondents from institutions working in Latin America with: · an agricultural focus working on climate change
· a climate change or environmental focus working on agriculture
· a rural development, inclusion or gender focus working on climate change and agriculture
The survey will take approximately 20 minutes and your responses will be treated confidentially. Please note that the survey is in Spanish as we are targeting practitioners in the region
