World Water Week Overview
Each year, the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) hosts World Water Week, the world’s leading conference on global water issues. This year’s conference will take place in a hybrid format from 23 August through 1 September, with the first three days (23-25 Aug.) offering an online-only digital experience and the final five days (28 Aug. - 1 Sept.) featuring in-person sessions with online broadcasts.
The conference focuses on the theme of Seeing the Unseen: The Value of Water with session topics ranging from food security and health to agriculture, technology, biodiversity, and the climate crisis. The full program of over 300 activities can be accessed here.
Registration for the conference is still open. Tickets are available for the full conference, the online portion only, or day passes.
