Mekong sub-region Forum on Climate Change Adaptation and Water Resources Management
Thailand Environment Institute (TEI) is calling for applicants to participate in Mekong sub-region Forum on Climate Change Adaptation and Water Resources Management. The Forum aims to update the regional cooperation and disseminate the results of local research and field activity related to climate change adaptation (CCA) and water resources management (WRM) in ASEAN. The Forum results would generate key information and guidelines relating CCA and WRM that would enhance ability, understanding and knowledge of the CSOs as well as to build a regional climate change network. The forum is funded by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and organized by Thailand Environment Institute (TEI).

. Approximately 60 representatives from 6 countries in GMS (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and Yunnan-China) will be selected based on the eligibility criteria by TEI’s committee. Result notification will be only sent to selected applicants by 6th July 2015. Financial support will be available to selected applicants to participate in the forum which includes air ticket, accommodation, transportation expenses, meal and per diem. Applicants will be selected to obtain financial support to attend the forum based on the following criteria.
- She/he must be working on projects in relation to climate change adaptation, water resource management, gender equality, poverty, environmental government and human right.
- She/he must be a representative of Civil Society Organizations in the following Greater Mekong Sub-region countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and Yunnan-China).
- She/he must have at least 1 year working experience in the related field.
- She/he must have a good command of English.
