The Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum
is the flagship event of the Asia Pacific Adaptation Network (APAN), and the primary platform for knowledge sharing and learning amongst adaptation practitioners in the region. The sixth edition of the Forum will be held from 17 to 19 October 2018 at the Asian Development Bank headquarters in Manila, jointly hosted by the Governments of the Philippines and Palau, and the Asian Development Bank. The Forum will focus on learning from actions towards climate-resilient development.
On Thursday of the three-day forum, the Asian Development Bank is convening a session on "Nature-based approaches to sustainable and resilient infrastructure development."
AGWA's Coordinator will give a keynote presentation, which will be followed by a panel discussion that includes numerous AGWA members and collaborators. This session falls within the broader stream of "Resilience of industry and the built environment." Read More...

cient and reliable delivery of services along with climate change and disaster risk concerns. The “Asia Water Forum (AWF) 2018 – Information, Innovation and Technology” will provide a venue and platform to share knowledge and experiences on state of the art advancements to help ensure a water-secure Asia Paciﬁc Region. The AWF will bring together over 300 participants including government oﬃ
cials from ADB developing member countries (DMCs), water and development professionals, industry and water association representatives, private sector and vendors, and civil society to discuss and demonstrate the latest technologies and innovations, including policy and management reforms, and their applications in the water sector. The goal is to increase the awareness and knowledge of water practitioners and decision makers and identify strategies to adopt and scale-up innovation and technology throughout the region.
