9:00–10:30 a.m. EDT
This event is the second in a four-part virtual event series hosted by the Adaptation Action Coalition on the latest Working Group II contribution to the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability: Turning Adaptation Science to Action: IPCC WGII Report Launch.
The AAC is a coalition of countries chaired by the UK and Egypt, who have come together to elevate adaptation on the global climate change agenda and accelerate global action to achieve a climate resilient world by 2030.
This event will unpack the science on the key AAC workstream sector issues — water and infrastructure. It will bring together IPCC authors and technical experts and ask the question: how do we turn IPCC science into action in order to advance adaptation progress and achieve a climate resilient world?
