Mark Fletcher

Dr. Mark Fletcher currently leads the Global Water Business in Arup. He formerly led the Europe Water Business in Arup. He is also currently Chairman of the River Mersey Task Force. He is currently working with the Rockefeller Foundation on Water Resilience Assessment of Cities with the support of the 100 Resilient Cities, World Bank and OECD. He has also recently presented thought leadership on water resilience to Defra, Welsh Government, Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales and Dwr Cymru Welsh Water. He is also the sponsor and lecturer for the Arup University - Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan Business School course on ‘Resilience of Urban Systems’ (programmed from 2017-2020).
