AGWA Welcomes New International Policy Intern

Last week AGWA welcomed a new graduate student intern, Anna Ondracek, who will be supporting AGWA’s policy work through the end of May 2021. Her primary internship project will be to assist the UNFCCC’s Marrakech Partnership for Global Climate Action (MPGCA) water team as they prepare for COP26 in November, but given her background in Spanish and global policy, we will be drawing on her knowledge and experience for several ongoing programs.

Anna comes to us from the Middlebury School of International Studies in Monterey, California, USA where she is currently completing her master’s degree in International Environmental Policy, with an emphasis on water. Prior to starting her degree, Anna spent a year living in Spain where she taught English. AGWA’s small secretariat is thrilled to have her support for the next few months!
