The Water Utility Climate Alliance (WUCA) is inviting you to a Learning From Each Other (LFEO) session featuring speakers from Sydney Water in Australia and its Climate Change Adaptation Guidebook.

Sydney Water is Australia’s largest metropolitan water utility, providing treatment and supply services to 5 million water and wastewater customers. Speakers from the utility will discuss the organization's Climate Change Adaptation Guidebook. Speakers will provide regulatory and operating context and share activities focused on improving organizational capability in adaptation. The key focus will be how Sydney Water staff created a guidebook to tailor implementation of their climate position and embed it into decisions across the value chain.
Featured Speakers:
Isabel Copeman (Strategy & Sustainability Manager) has over a decade’s experience in water industry in system and regional planning. She now leads Sydney Water’s adaptation activities including regulatory engagement, disclosures, adaptation planning for key risks and organizational uplift.
Elliot Cichero (Senior Strategy & Sustainability Advisor) is an experienced climate change advisor. He leads Sydney Water’s approach to use of data and tools in both emissions’ reduction and adaption practice.
Together they work in a broader team committed to ensuring decisions that make our customers’ lives better today do not come at a cost to Country and future generations.
