The Alliance for Water Stewardship’s (AWS) Global Forum has been a key opportunity for bringing together a diverse community for generating new knowledge, discussions, and partnerships around water stewardship. This year the event will be held in an online, virtual format.

The principles of water stewardship represent a solid foundation for climate adaptation practice, both for the private sector and across the broader policy landscape. To highlight a deeper understanding and recognition of the potential for stewardship to support climate adaptation, a special session is scheduled as part of the Forum. Experts from IUCN and AGWA will take part in a “big picture” discussion on the topic, followed by time for Q&A from the online audience.
