Water and climate coordination will play an integral role in effective implementation of national frameworks such as NDCs and NAPs. A new webinar series will convene global experts on these topics to highlight climate-water linkages and their implications for decision making, governance, and finance. The first session of the series will take place on Thursday, 18 February and focus on “Interactions Between Water and Different Sectors.” Speakers will discuss:
the importance of ensuring that water interactions are considered in countries’ NDCs
the intersectoral linkages through water
the differences between first and enhanced NDCs
introduction to a practical tool for identifying climate and water linkages.
