Ingrid Timboe

Policy Director

Ingrid Timboe is the Policy Director at AGWA. She first joined the Secretariat as a Policy Associate in 2017 to help coordinate AGWA’s and SIWI's organization of Water Action Day at COP23 and has been engaged in international climate and water policy since then. Based in the United States, Ingrid is involved in all things policy at AGWA, coordinating AGWA Policy Group communications, producing the AGWA Policy Newsletter, helping prepare policy briefs and white papers. In addition, she is involved in the Marrakech Partnership and Adaptation Committee, coordinating AGWA’s work with the UNFCCC. She co-hosts the ClimateReady podcast with Alex Mauroner.

Ingrid holds a Master's Degree in Water Resources Management, focused on transboundary waters, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Affairs. Prior to graduate school, Ingrid spent six years at the World Wildlife Fund working with the Global Policy and Conservation Science teams.
