GWOPA / UN-Habitat and BMZ / GIZ are hosting a webinar series showcasing best practices and lessons learned on utility climate action, circular development, and wastewater management. The webinars are intended to serve as a platform for global exchanges around the needs and experiences of utilities. The first webinar in the 2021 series will focus on the impacts of flood and drought on water supply, water and wastewater infrastructure, and utility staff, with keynote speaker John Matthews of AGWA.

The discussions will inform preparations for the thematic sessions of the 4th Global WOPs Congress , to be held from 18-29 October 2021 and initiate a discussion on the role of Water Operators 'Partnerships (WOPs) in supporting utilities' responses and preparedness to climate change impacts.

The webinars will be simultaneously translated into English, French and Spanish.
